A total of 6 Somali men were executed by Shabab in the town of Kunyobarow in the Lower Shabelle Province. The men were accused of “spying for American intelligence agencies & the Somali governement” and were executed in public. There’s no record of them being presented in front of a judge in a shari’ah court. Shabab often executes people accused of “espionage” with confessions extracted under torture.
