As Ukraine continues its long prepared counter-offensive this week Russia has lost 100’s in vehicles, military equipment and troops. According to various Russian and Ukrainian language outlets over 160 Russian vehicles and tanks have been destroyed or seized, with a Sukhoi SU-34 fighter-bomber downed, SU-34’s are responsible for large numbers of civilian deaths in Syria.
Nearly 150 Russian military personnel have been taken prisoner, including a high ranking general and 100 Russian soldiers killed, including 47 Spetsnaz Military Intelligence (GRU) officers. Ukraine’s military says its forces have retaken over 3,000 sq km (1,158 sq miles) during a rapid counter-offensive in eastern Ukraine.
