More than 2,000 Syrians Deported from Turkey in August

According to the administration of Bab al-Hawa border crossing, Turkey deported 2,714 Syrians via the crossing in August. In the run up to elections and a flagging economy decreasing the number of refugees, especially Syrians, is a high priority for the current government. Bab al-Hawa is the major crossing point between Turkey and the liberated lands in northern Syria.
