Haaretz newspaper and the Israel’s Channel 12 reveal that the Israeli strike on Aleppo International Airport preceded the arrival of a plane carrying anti-aircraft missiles belonging to the Iran’s Mahan Air company.
Israeli outlets also stated the attack targeted radar and landing systems to prevent the Iran’s plane from landing at the airport, which has become the new airstrip for Iranian planes after Israeli strikes stopped Damascus airport from operating in June.
