The Israeli occupation has announced an important development regarding the situation in Syria, represented by the destruction of 90% of the Iranian military infrastructure in the country. Israeli officials told the Hebrew newspaper “The Jerusalem Post” that Israel succeeded in almost completely limiting Iran’s ability to transfer weapons to Syria and to manufacture weapons there.

They pointed out that the plan of the former commander of the Iranian Al-Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, who was killed by the Americans in 2020, failed due to the Israeli army’s air campaign against the forces in Syria.
A few days ago, the Israeli occupation also told “Yediot Aharonot” newspaper that its attacks on the positions of the Assad regime and Iranian militias in Syria have not changed and are still the same. On Monday, October 24, Israel carried out a strike in broad daylight on the outskirts of Damascus, injuring one soldier, the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said the raid targeted sites in the Damascus area, where Iranian-backed groups and the Syrian army operated. This is the second raid in five days to target the region of the Syrian capital.
Officials said “periods when there are no attacks are usually the result of an Iranian decision to stop smuggling weapons into Syria to try to find a new way to deceive Israel.”
Israel says there has been no change in Israeli behavior in Syria, and no pressure has been exerted by the Russians to stop the bombardment.
