According to Kurdish news outlets Iran’s continued drone and rocket attacks in Iraq’s autonomous Kurdish region has killed 13 people, among them a pregnant women. While leaving 58 suffering injuries.
While Iran has targeted bases of several PKK aligned Kurdish independence groups such as the PDK, PAK their strikes have also hit civilian areas and gatherings, according to local sources. Iran has struck with more than 70 missile strikes and 20 drones, according to Baghdad.
These attacks come as Tehran blames Kurds and “foreigners” for the ongoing unrest and protests spreading through Iran.
