According to Kurdish language news outlets Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) bombarded residential areas in the predominantly Kurdish region of northern Iraq. One of the missiles hit a school.
This comes as many Kurdish people take to the streets in support of Mahsa Amini an Iranian Kurd who was likely killed by Iranian security forces.
Iran has been facing widespread protests and civil disobdience following Amini’s death and accuses “Kurds” of orchestrating the ongoing anti-hijab protests. and civil unrest.
