Assad Regime States why they Haven’t Responded to Israeli Raids

news

The regime’s foreign minister, Faisal Mekdad, has revealed the reason behind the Assad regime’s inability to respond to the repeated raids in Syria.

Mekdad said: « Israel takes advantage of the passage of some civilian aircraft in Syria and fires from below or from above.  In that case, when the Syrian missiles fire back, they might hit some of the civil aviation, then the blame falls on us, so we don’t want to do such a thing. »

Mekdad promised Israel a response soon to all these attempts, during his interview on the Atheer channel with Omani journalist Musa Al-Farai.

Assad regime’s foreign minister says ISIS operatives move daily from Israel to northern Syria and there are “daily movements” between ISIS and Al-Nusra with Israel on the ceasefire lines.

Faisal Mekdad explained that Israel gives them weapons, money and instructions, in order to help continue to cloud the atmosphere of a definitive solution to the crisis we are facing in Syria, according to him.

He also referred to the Syrian protests, denying that protests had taken place in Daraa governorate during March 2011. Al-Miqdad said he called his relatives in Daraa at that time, when  he was in Addis Ababa, and had asked them about the reality of the demonstrations calling for the overthrow of the regime, and they told him that they were fabricated.

It should be noted that the Assad regime still believes in the idea of conspiracy, which it has ingrained in the minds of all its officials and loyalists, and has constantly justified its inability to respond to Israel, which has been targeting its positions and those of Iranian militias for more than 10 years in various Syrian governorates.
