Reports of Russian Repositioning from North-Eastern Syria to the Coast

According to several outlets, Russian forces withdrew nine Russian helicopters and jets from their bases east of the Euphrates towards the Hmeimim Air Base on the Syrian coast. Media sources said that, on Monday and Tuesday, the Russian forces withdrew seven Ka-52 combat helicopters and Mi-8 military transport helicopters from the Sarin Air Base and Tabqa Military Airport towards the Hmeimim Air Base on the Syrian coast. It also transported two Sukhoi planes from Qamishli Airport towards the Hmeimim base.
