Ukraine sends 6 more grain ships under Turkey’s Deal

news

Since the 1 August over 145 ships packed with over 3m tons of agricultural products from Ukraine for global distribution. A Joint Coordination Center with officials from Turkey, Russia and Ukraine and the UN was set up in Istanbul to oversee the shipments.

The US has credited Turkey’s landmark deal with being the main reason for the drop in global food prices which had reached unprecedented prices earlier this year.
