Afrin, in the northern countryside of Aleppo, was shook by an explosion in the city center on Rajo Street which injured four civilians, among them a child. The explosion was the result of a motorcycle that had been rigged with explosives and placed on the busy street to target the civilian population.

While no one has claimed responsibly for the attack it is believed to be the work of PKK affiliated SDF agents as the Turkish Ministry of Interior announced the seizure of 12 kilograms of explosives, which were intended to be detonated by cells affiliated with the PKK/SDF terrorist militia in the city of Afrin.
