Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya confirmed that a blast in the country’s most populous city has indeed killed four people. The attack happened on the pedestrian and tourist friendly street of Istiklal Avenue.
The source of the blast was initially being discussed amongst the authorities with some saying it was the work of a suicide bomber. However CCTV footage is showing that a bag was left unattended and exploded.
