According to local sources there are over 20 confirmed cases of cholera in the City of Aleppo, with some sources placed the numbers over 100. A contaminated ice cream factory has been blamed for the outbreak, and has since been closed.
This comes as similar cases of cholera have been recorded in PKK/SDF administered regions. Cholera is considered a serious disease, which can be transmitted through the infection, and is usually caused by contaminated water, it can result in death if the patient is left untreated.
