According to local sources Colonel Tony Al-Ghanam, Captain Taher Mahmoud and First Lieutenant Ghazi Ibrahim were killed when their helicopter crashed in the city of Hama this morning.
Sources claim the crash occurred due to an unknown technical malfunction which caused the craft to crash near the Arabaeen Roundabout in the city. There were no survivors.
