As Protests Rage in Iran Muqtada Sadr’s Supporters Storm Iraq’s Green Zone

Following July’s takeover of parliament and clashes between Sadr’s Iraqi Shia supporters, which killed 30, and those of rival Iranian backed Shia groups things quieted down. However, Sadr supporters once again stormed the Green Zone today (28 September) marching through the streets and waving flags and banners in support of Sadr, as they call for parliament to be dissolved and early elections to be held.
