Al-Ekhaa Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Atma, Idlib, northern Syria announces it will have to be shuttered from 1 September due to lack of financial support.
The hospital provided 24 hour care to women and children and was one of the only institutes providing free perinatal care, family planning, cancer screening, menopausal care, and infertility care to IDPs in the region.
