Hindu extremist priest Bajrang Muni Das, who was recently arrested for threatening to rape Muslim women, was granted bail only 10 days after he was arrested for his rape threats outside a mosque.
Speaking to reporters following his release on bail, Das brazenly said that he had no remorse for his words. Expressing full faith in the Indian law, he also said his threats of raping Muslim women were to guard his faith.
“I have no guilt [about promising to rape Muslim women. I said it for my religion [Hinduism].”
“In the name of protecting my religion, if I have to go to jail a million times, I am ready to go. I do not mind giving my life for my RELIGION.”

After the spread of his video where he threatened the rape of Muslim women on April 7, Muslims in Khairabad town of Uttar Pradesh organized a protest demanding prompt action against the extremist priest. However, just 10 days after Das’ arrest, he was given bail.

In the video that went viral in early April, Das is is seen shamelessly announcing on a loudspeaker outside a mosque during the holy month of Ramadan that if a Muslim man teases a Hindu girl, then he would openly rape Muslim women.
